A Spanish fashion photographer and publisher, Eugenio Recuenco is famous for his extraordinary settings. Renowned for his commercials for Loewe, Chivas or Nina Ricci, his works have rewarded him with numerous prizes, making him famous worldwide. In 2005, his picture for the Playstation receives a Golden Lion Prize in Cannes. In 2007, he collaborates to the prestigious Lavazza calendar staging a hallucinated Don Quixote.
Influenced by the greatest masters of the Spanish Golden Age such as Goya, El Greco or Zurbaran, Eugenio also transfigures the cinema repertoire with Kubrick's films, even with legends and fairy tales. Thus, it is throughout futuristic and oneiric decors that he invites the adventurous viewer to discover a world full of mysteries. The triumph of the imagination is the testament to a unique and instinctive photographic writing. His reputation as a creative photographer, one of the most creative of Spain, not to say of the world, isn't thus overrated.
